Newsweek Education Program Discontinued

But I downloaded some resources from the web before they took the content off. I have a PDF file for the 2007-2008 Essay Collection and teacher guide, along with some of their "tool box" documents. I thought I could use them to help teach reading and writing informational text. If anyone is interested in have these documents let me know. I can post them to my Google pages website or to UEN for download.

Let me know where you wnat me to e-mail the files. I'll try to get to it asap.

Hi, my name is Neil Constance. I understand that these are old posts and that they may be dead, but I'll give this a shot anyway. I was a second place winner in the 2007 "My Turn" essay competition, and was pretty bumbed to see that the Newsweek Education Program closed its doors. With an increasing number of entries to the competition every year I figured that shutting the operation down would be the last thing that would happen.

If you have any copies of the published entries in the 2007 competition I would love to have them emailed to me at UrbanVoodoo01@yahoo.com. Thanks for taking an interest in the program and I hope that Newsweek gets the support to bring it back some time soon!
